Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Metro Home Interiors is a trading name of Metro Kitchens & Bedrooms Limited ("we", "us"), registered in England and Wales. Workshop & showroom: Unit 29, Hallmark Trading Estate, Fourth Way, Wembley, London HA9 0LB. Email: connect@metrowardrobes.co.uk. Phone: 07700142978. We are the data controller for personal data collected through metrohomeinteriors.co.uk.

2. What we collect

When you submit an enquiry, book a design visit or sign up to our newsletter, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, telephone number, postcode, and anything you include in your message. When you browse the site, our platform provider (Shopify) collects technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, using cookies and similar technologies.

3. Why we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange your free design visit — performance of a contract or steps you ask us to take before entering one.
  • To prepare and follow up quotations — legitimate interests in running our business.
  • To send design ideas, offers and news, where you have opted in — consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
  • To keep records we are legally required to keep — legal obligation.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business — Shopify (website hosting), email and booking tools, and delivery/installation scheduling — under contracts that protect your data. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry and quotation records are kept for up to 2 years after our last contact. If you become a customer, project records are kept for the duration of your 10-year guarantee. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email connect@metrowardrobes.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

7. Cookies

This site uses essential cookies needed for it to function, and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can control non-essential cookies through the cookie preferences banner and your browser settings.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
