1. About these terms

These terms and conditions apply to your use of the Metro Home Interiors website (metrohomeinteriors.co.uk) and to enquiries, design visits, quotations and orders for our bespoke fitted furniture. Please read them together with your written quotation, which sets out the specific details of your project. By using this website or placing an order you agree to these terms.

2. Who we are

3. Website use

The content of this website is provided for general information. Because every piece is made to measure, the finishes, dimensions and configurations of your furniture will be agreed with you in writing before manufacture. Prices shown on the website are indicative starting prices only and do not constitute an offer. All content on this site is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.

4. Design visits and quotations

Our home design visits are free and carry no obligation. Quotations are itemised in writing and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A quotation becomes a binding order only when you confirm acceptance in writing and any agreed deposit is received.

5. Bespoke, made-to-measure goods

All of our furniture is made to measure to your confirmed specification. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the statutory 14-day cancellation right does not apply to goods made to a consumer's specification. Once manufacture has begun, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded except where the goods are faulty or not as described. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including that goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

6. Prices and payment

The price for your project, the deposit and the payment schedule are set out in your written quotation. Prices include manufacture, delivery and professional installation unless your quotation states otherwise. Variations requested after design sign-off will be priced and agreed in writing before we proceed.

7. Delivery and installation

Estimated manufacture and installation dates are given in good faith. Typical lead time is around 21 days from design sign-off, but dates are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our control. Installation is carried out by our own fitting team. You are responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the property on the agreed dates.

8. Guarantee

Our fitted furniture carries a 10-year guarantee covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, from the date of installation. The guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, or alterations made by anyone other than our team. Branded hardware may carry its own manufacturer warranty in addition. The guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with a project is limited to the price paid for that project.

10. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Complaints, governing law and jurisdiction

If something is not right, contact us at connect@metrowardrobes.co.uk and we will work with you to resolve it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
