Most fitted wardrobe companies will not put a number in writing until a designer is sitting on your sofa. We would rather you knew before you called. Metro wardrobes are sold in five levels. Essential Hybrid starts at £800 per wardrobe unit for practical, made-to-measure storage fixed to the wall without fillers or scribing. Essential Plus starts at £2,400 fitted, with slab doors, four drawers and a tailored installation. Classic starts at £3,900 fitted and moves to shaker doors. Signature starts at £4,950 fitted with super-matt or textured finishes, and Signature Plus starts at £5,800 fitted with fluted, mirrored or glass statement doors, premium interiors and lighting.
The 2-metre width is a design reference, not a package or a price per metre: your exact figure depends on the measurements, layout, door style, finishes and access, and is fixed in a written itemised quotation after a free home design visit.
Every level shares the same made-to-measure carcase, Wembley manufacture and 10-year guarantee. You pay more only for door style, finishes, interior and fitting.
Starting prices are for a wardrobe approximately 2 metres wide and include VAT and installation by our own team. Level 1 has a minimum order of three units.

The levels change what you see and touch, not what holds the wardrobe up. Every Metro wardrobe is built around a robust 18mm MFC carcase with a solid 18mm back, top and bottom. Its own full back panel encloses the storage independently of the room’s wall, keeping the carcase square and properly supported. Components are cut on an intelligent beam saw, machined and drilled by CNC and edged on industrial edge-banding equipment in our HA9 Wembley factory, so the design you approve is the wardrobe that arrives.
A starting price tells you which level you are in. These five things move the number within it, and every one of them is a decision you make with your designer rather than an assumption we build in.
The overall width and height, the number of cabinets and the internal arrangement decide the materials and machining. A width on its own cannot give a final price.
Slab, shaker, fluted, mirrored fretwork and framed glass are different specifications. Shaker construction adds machining and finishing over slab; statement doors sit above that.
Standard boards are the entry point. Super-matt, textured and premium interior décors carry different costs, and your quotation names the exact choices.
Room conditions, access and the agreed fitting work affect installation. Essential Hybrid is fixed in position without fillers, wall scribing or cutting around skirting boards.
Integrated lighting, specialist accessories and matching bedside furniture are included only where they are specified in your quotation.

Three wardrobe units, or a combination of wardrobe units and matching bedside furniture. The £800 starting price applies to each wardrobe unit, with installation included; your quotation confirms the accepted combination and the complete order price.
Signature invests in the exterior: super-matt or textured finishes and carefully chosen handles on a standard interior. Signature Plus develops a more individual exterior from our statement collections, such as fluted detailing, mirrored fretwork or framed glass, and adds a coordinated interior scheme with premium décor, integrated lighting and personalised storage such as jewellery compartments and accessory organisers. The exact door treatments and accessories are specified and priced in the quotation.
Removal of existing furniture, decorating, building work and electrical alterations are excluded unless they are specified in your quotation. Lighting, specialist accessories and matching bedside or dressing furniture are added only when you choose them.
The levels describe the door, finish, interior and fitting specification, and apply across hinged and sliding designs. Layout still moves the figure: as a guide, sliding designs start from £2,400, loft wardrobes from £2,900 and walk-in dressing rooms from £3,999.
