What the showroom is for
Photographs and 3D designs show you a wardrobe; the showroom lets you open it. Six things worth coming in for.
Full-size room displays
A walk-in dressing room behind gold-framed glass doors, fitted wardrobes with the doors open, a media wall with an electric fire and a home office corner, all built exactly as we build them in your home, so you judge door gaps, handles and drawer depths rather than guess from a picture.
The Door Library
Sample doors from every family we make: shaker and five-piece, flat and edged, painted timber and MDF, aluminium-framed glass. Our door styles in more than a hundred finishes.
Sliding doors you can move
Framed sliding doors on their tracks, in mirror, glass and woodgrain, so you can feel the soft-close and see how banded layouts line up across a run.
Finishes side by side
Painted, woodgrain, matt and gloss samples in daylight. The same colour reads differently on a small swatch and a full door, which is the point of seeing both.
Interiors and lighting
Pull-out shoe racks, soft-close drawers, jewellery trays, lit rails and shelf lighting, fitted in working displays so you can decide what your own storage needs. The push-to-open shoe rack is the piece most visitors go back to.
A designer, not a salesperson
Whoever meets you in the showroom is one of the designers who will visit your home. Bring room measurements or a photo and they will sketch a first idea while you are there.

Made in the same building you visit
The showroom sits at the front of the Metro workshop on the Hallmark Trading Estate. Every wardrobe, kitchen and media wall we sell is cut, edged and assembled behind it by our own team, then fitted by our own installers, which is why we can promise installation within 21 days of your order and back the furniture with a 10-year guarantee.
Visiting means you can see what the finished piece is made of: 18mm carcasses, the aluminium profiles on the sliding doors, the drawer runners and hinges we specify, and the standard of finish before it leaves the building. Ask for a tour and a designer will walk you through the CAD and CNC machinery and whatever is being made that day.
How we workFrom the showroom to a fitted wardrobe
Five steps, and only the first one needs you to come to us.

Questions about visiting.
No. You can walk in any time we are open, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm, and Saturday, 9.30am to 3pm, at Unit 29, Hallmark Trading Estate, Fourth Way, Wembley HA9 0LB. If you want a designer to yourself, or you are travelling some distance, call 07700142978 first and we will book a time so someone is waiting for you.
Unit 29, Hallmark Trading Estate, Fourth Way, Wembley HA9 0LB, in the same building as our workshop. It is on the Hallmark Trading Estate on the east side of Wembley Stadium. Wembley Park station on the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines and Wembley Stadium station on the Chiltern line are both within walking distance, and the estate is a short drive from the North Circular. Open the location in Google Maps.
Full-size fitted wardrobes with working doors and drawers, sample doors from every one of our door styles, framed sliding doors on their tracks, more than a hundred painted and woodgrain finishes, and internal fittings such as pull-out shoe racks, lit rails and jewellery drawers. Because the workshop is behind the showroom, you can also see how the furniture is made.
You can get a good indication. Bring your room measurements, or even a photo, and a designer will talk through door styles and give you a realistic range on the spot. A firm, itemised quotation follows the free home design visit, because every piece is made to measure and the room has to be measured properly first.
No. Most of our customers never come to Wembley. The free home design visit brings the Door Library of sample doors and finishes to your home, the designer measures the room, and the 3D design and quotation follow within two to three days. The showroom is for people who want to see full-size pieces and the workshop first.
Yes, ask when you arrive. The showroom is at the front of the building where the furniture is cut, edged and assembled, and a designer can show you the machinery and the pieces in production that day. It is a working factory, so children need to stay with an adult.
London and the surrounding counties: Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and Kent, with designers regularly out to Milton Keynes, Luton, Hemel Hempstead and Flitwick. The home design visit is free anywhere up to about 40 miles outside London; beyond that a travel charge applies, which we tell you before booking. Everything is made in Wembley and fitted by our own team wherever the house is. Check your postcode on the contact page if you are unsure.
Allow half an hour to look round on your own, or about an hour if you sit down with a designer and start working through a design. There is no pressure to decide anything on the day; many people visit once, have the home design visit, and then come back to see a finish in daylight before confirming.

“Excellent Job from Metro Wardrobes. Not cheap but you definitely get your money worth, plus a 10 year guarantee. The builder Kinjal along with his colleague Naitik performed very well and completed essentially everything in one day. They had to come back the next day to install handles to drawers and doors as my personal selection was not available in time but they came in within 24hrs of the wardrobe installation. Happy with everything and hopefully I will not need to use the guarantee.”
“Superb job completed by fantastic workmen. So neat and tidy, professional and considerate. V pleased with the product.”
“I would recommend this company. They delivered a very good wardrobe and a very good service too throughout the project.”
