A compact white shaker kitchen on three walls, with black bar handles and an oak-lined interior, made in the same Wembley workshop as our wardrobes.

Customer brief. The client wanted a calm white kitchen in a compact room: as much storage and worktop as three walls could give, a classic door that would not date, and an interior that looked as good as the outside.
Metro solution. A U-shape kitchen on three walls built on our Clapham design: five-piece painted shaker doors in white with black bar handles, 18mm solid-back carcasses with an oak-effect interior, concealed soft-close hinges and full-extension soft-close drawers, drawn around the cooker, the sink and the way the client cooks.

Five-piece painted shaker doors
A true five-piece frame around a flat centre panel, painted white, the classic door for a kitchen that has to look right for twenty years.
U-shape on three walls
Worktop on three sides with the sink under the window and the cooker on the return, so the working triangle is short and the corners are used with pull-out storage.
Black bar handles, oak interior
Slim black bar handles against the white doors, and an oak-effect interior on every carcass and drawer box.
Soft-close everywhere
Concealed soft-close hinges on every door and full-extension soft-close runners on every drawer, so the deep pan drawers open fully.
