The Heritage suite
For Victorian villas, Edwardian flats and Georgian conversions: a master bedroom suite in hand-painted shaker or in-frame doors, with brass or unlacquered ironmongery and matched cornices and skirtings, so it looks as though it has always been there.
The Heritage suite takes its doors from our classic collection, built as five-piece frames in painted timber, and runs them across hinged wardrobes, a dressing table, bedsides and a chest of drawers in the same colour. Cornice and skirting are copied from the room's originals so the joinery meets the walls the way period furniture should, and lighting is concealed in the cornice rather than fixed to the face.

Six elements, specified together.
Every Heritage Master Suite commission is built as one composition from six specified elements. Each can be specified, customised and commissioned individually — or together as a complete suite from £5,000.
Bed & headboard
Upholstered or veneered headboards built into the wall composition, not bolted to the bed. Hidden storage in the base if required. Integrated bedside lighting and USB charging routed through the joinery. Choice of fabric, leather or matched timber face.
Wardrobe wall
Full-height bespoke wardrobes — hinged, sliding or walk-in entry — finished to match the rest of the suite. Internal lighting on motion sensors. Pull-out trays for jewellery and watches. Hanging rails specified by what they actually hold.
Dressing area
A dressing island, dresser bench or wall-mounted vanity — with proper task lighting, drawer-front pulls hidden, and surface materials chosen for daily use. Stone, hand-finished timber, leather inlay or matched paint.
Storage choreography
Every drawer specified by what it holds. Pull-outs for jewellery, ties, watches. Soft-close everywhere. Internal upholstery on premium drawers. Hidden laundry compartments where the brief calls for them. The internal life is where the real value sits.
Lighting design
Three lighting layers — ambient, task and accent — on separate dimmer circuits. Warm 2700K LED throughout. Hidden in shadow gaps and shelf edges. Reading lights at the bed. Wardrobe interiors on motion sensors that switch off when you do.
Acoustic detailing
Fabric-backed panels behind the bed, soft-close everything, felt-lined drawers and shelves. The room sounds quieter from the moment you walk in — particularly important above busy London streets or in mansion-block bedrooms.

The Master Suite Commission
A whole-loft master commission. Hanging walls under the highest pitch, dressing bench beneath the dormer window, eaves drawers to the knee walls, integrated lighting throughout. Typically a 4-5m ridge-to-floor commission.
The Compact Loft
Designed for sub-3m ridge heights — Victorian terrace conversions, mews-house lofts, narrow Edwardian roofs. Single wall of stepped-down wardrobes, double hanging where ceiling permits, drawer banks where it doesn't.
The Dormer-Flanked
Wardrobes built either side of a dormer window with an integrated window seat between, doors stepped down to match the surrounding pitch. The dormer becomes the focal point of the room rather than a break in the joinery rhythm.
The Eaves Drawer Bank
A dedicated commission for the knee-wall zone. Deep pull-out drawers along the lowest part of the slope — typically 600–900mm tall — where ceiling height is too low for hanging. Often combined with a separate hanging wall under the high pitch.
The Statement Loft Walk-In
A walk-in dressing room carved out of the loft. Central island or dressing bench, wardrobes on both pitched walls, integrated lighting throughout. The most-photographed loft commission we build — usually paired with a Velux skylight overhead.
The Office & Wardrobe Combo
A hybrid loft commission for clients using the loft as both bedroom and workspace. Wardrobes on one pitched wall, integrated desk and shelving on the other, separated by a low knee-wall console that doubles as a room divider.
