The Grooved family is texture as design: fine vertical v-grooves routed across the face turn each door into softly fluted panelling — the tongue-and-groove look loved in cottages and coastal rooms, and lately in every design magazine as “reeded”. Seven doors vary the groove pitch and framing (the Newport adds a 90mm frame around its grooves); all are routed into an 18mm E1-grade MDF core and wrapped in one seamless skin, so the grooves can never open or peel. About This Style

Sage green and soft flutes — the pairing every interiors editor has fallen for, and it earns the fuss: the colour calms the room while the grooves give the biggest surface in it a gentle, tactile rhythm that plain doors cannot manage. This is our Grooved family, seven doors of fine vertical v-grooves, shown on the Olivia with a matching window seat.

How it works: the grooves are routed into an 18mm E1-grade MDF core (PEFC/FSC® accredited), then the whole face is wrapped in one seamless skin — so unlike painted tongue-and-groove, nothing can open, crack along a joint or peel. Groove pitch varies by door (tap the names above); the Newport frames its grooves in a 90mm border. Doors hang on soft-close Blum hinges with knobs or bars from our library.

Make it yours: the sage shown is one of 80+ matt, superior matt and woodgrain finishes (no gloss — flutes are made for matt light), ten Kronospan interior colours, window seats and open bays worked into the run as shown.
