The Monroe Oak is the classic-proportioned face of our solid oak pair: 75mm stiles and rails in 20mm kiln-dried oak, joined with profiled tenon joints around a 7mm solid oak centre panel. Doors arrive hand-sanded and are finished to order — natural oil, matt lacquer, or a tinted oil to warm or lime the grain — with a fine 1.2mm chamfer cut in the solid.

About This Style
The Monroe Oak takes the family’s classic 75mm proportion and builds it from the material itself: kiln-dried solid oak, tenon-jointed, hand-sanded, finished in front of you. Where the slim Brooklyn Oak reads modern, the Monroe Oak reads inherited — the wardrobe a period room believes has always been there.
How it works: 75mm oak stiles and rails in 20mm boards, profiled tenon joints, a 7mm solid oak centre panel, and a 1.2mm chamfer cut in the solid. Finished to your choice — natural oil, matt lacquer or tinted oils — over grain you approve in person. Soft-close Blum hinges throughout.
