The Cordelia is a sliding wardrobe wall in dark walnut, one full-height mirror panel among the woodgrain doors, with brass bar handles. Closed, it is a quiet dark wall; open, a light oak interior lit from inside shows double hanging, shelves and drawers.

How it works: slim-framed sliding panels in walnut woodgrain and mirror run on top and bottom tracks in front of a 200mm supporting frame, with anti-jump rollers and a soft-close damper on every door. The interior is a made-to-measure carcass in light oak with an LED strip in each bay.

Built for everyday use: 18mm carcasses with a solid 18mm back, top and bottom; the sliding frame carries the mirror weight; woodgrain doors wipe clean.

The Cordelia shown measures about 3600mm wide and 2600mm high. Yours is made to your walls.

Manufactured in our Wembley workshop

Every carcass of the Cordelia is cut in our HA9 Wembley factory to the survey of your room, the sliding panels are framed before they leave, and the run is hung and scribed on site by our own fitters.

The sliding frame is built to the opening so the mirror and walnut panels overlap by exactly 45mm and the tracks sit level on the scribed top filler.

Cordelia Fitted Bedroom Furniture FAQs

Do sliding doors need clearance in front of the wardrobe?

No. The doors slide across the front rather than swinging outwards, so no floor space has to be kept clear, which is what makes the Cordelia work opposite a bed.

Why a light interior behind dark doors?

Because you look for clothes with the doors open. Light oak with an LED strip in each bay shows everything; dark walnut outside keeps the wall quiet when the doors are closed.

Can I have more mirror?

Yes. Any of the panels can be mirror, in silver, grey or bronze. One panel is shown because it reflects the window without turning the wall into a mirror.

Is the walnut real timber?

It is a walnut woodgrain board, with the grain and colour of walnut and the stability and wipe-clean surface a wardrobe needs.
