The Vivienne is a shaker wall in cream from floor to ceiling, eight doors wall to wall with a slim black bar on each. It is the wardrobe most London bedrooms ask for: enough storage for two, a proportion that sits with cornice and skirting, and a colour that goes with everything.

How it works: each door is an 18mm E1-grade MDF board with the shaker recess routed into it and a cream foil wrapped over, so the frame and panel are one piece. Doors hang on concealed soft-close hinges; the top filler is scribed to the ceiling on site.

Every carcass of the Vivienne is cut in our HA9 Wembley factory to the survey of your room, the doors are routed and wrapped before they leave, and the run is hung and scribed on site by our own fitters.

The doors are cut to the surveyed ceiling height, so the top filler on site is a scribe rather than a packing piece.

Is it painted?

The Vivienne is a wrapped shaker door in cream: the shaker profile is routed into one board and a cream foil is wrapped over it, so it has the look of a painted door with a surface that wipes clean and never chips. A hand-painted solid timber version is available in our timber ranges.

Why black handles?

A thin black bar gives a pale wall a rhythm without adding weight. Brass or chrome bars, or knobs, are available.

Can the doors go to the ceiling?

Yes. The doors are made to the surveyed height with a scribed top filler, so the top shelf is usable and there is no dust ledge.

Can I have a different colour?

Yes. Cream is shown; the same shaker door comes in any of our matt colours, and the interior can match or contrast.
