Ashcroft Bespoke TV Media Wall

The Ashcroft Bespoke TV Media Wall takes the whole wall. From the door on the left to the corner on the right it runs three tall cupboards, a slatted timber panel with the television on it, a low run of cupboards beneath the screen, an open shelving unit and, at the very end, a slatted niche for a plant — all in Navarra Ash, a pale, quiet ash woodgrain, with slim black bar handles.

It is the media wall for a room that also needs a lot of storage: the tall cupboards on the left hold as much as a wardrobe, and the low run beneath the screen hides the equipment.

How it works: the Ashcroft is built from 18mm E1-grade MFC in sections planned to the wall: full-height storage where the wall is blank, the screen where the seating faces, open shelving where the room is seen from the door. The slatted panel behind the television is a fixed feature that carries the screen bracket and hides the cables.

Doors hang on concealed soft-close hinges, and the low run beneath the screen is kept to a height that leaves the television at eye level from the sofa.

Designed around your TV and living space

A wall-to-wall run has to be divided by use, or it becomes a corridor of doors. The Ashcroft is divided into four: store, watch, display, breathe.

Built around your television: the screen is mounted on the slatted panel at the height the sofa sets, with the low run beneath it sized to the equipment and the soundbar. The panel is made wider than the screen so a larger television later does not need a new wall.

Keeping the living room organised: the tall cupboards take the things a living room has no other home for; the low run takes the boxes and the games; the open shelving takes what you want to see. Nothing sits on the floor in front of the wall.

Built for everyday use: 18mm MFC with a solid 18mm back, top and bottom to every carcass, tall and low alike, fixed to the wall along the full length of the run.

Manufactured in our Wembley workshop

A run that meets a wall at both ends is cut to the survey, not to a catalogue. The Ashcroft’s carcasses are cut on the beam saw in our HA9 Wembley factory to the sections drawn for your wall, and the end panels are scribed to the plaster on installation so there is no gap at either corner.

The slatted panel is made as one piece and cut for the screen bracket and the cable route before it leaves, and every visible edge is banded in Navarra Ash on industrial equipment so the pale grain is unbroken across doors, shelves and slats.

Both corners, the door position and the seating are measured at your design visit, before anything is made.
