The Thornbury Media Unit is a made-to-measure fitted TV and media storage system designed to create a dedicated focal point in the living room while keeping entertainment equipment, cables and everyday items organised.

Rather than placing a television on separate freestanding furniture, the Thornbury is designed around the TV size, available wall space and storage requirements, allowing the television, cupboards, shelving and display areas to work together as one fitted composition.

The example shown uses a warm Cotta Cremona Oak finish with a contemporary handleless appearance, giving the larger fitted arrangement a clean and understated look.

How it works: the Thornbury is constructed using 18mm E1-grade MFC, with individual sections manufactured according to the dimensions of the room and television. Enclosed cupboards can be combined with open shelving and display areas, allowing media equipment and items you want to hide to be separated from books, decorative objects and items you want on display.

Doors are fitted with concealed soft-close hinges, providing smooth and quiet everyday operation while maintaining the clean fitted appearance.

Built around your television: because every Thornbury is made to measure, the TV opening can be proportioned around the actual television rather than using a predetermined recess. This helps create a more balanced relationship between the screen, surrounding cabinetry and overall wall.

Keeping the living room organised: enclosed storage provides somewhere to keep items out of sight, while open sections can be reserved for objects you want to display. This allows the media wall to function as both TV furniture and practical living-room storage.

Built for everyday use: the Thornbury uses 18mm MFC construction with solid 18mm back, top and bottom, creating a substantial fitted structure rather than relying on the room wall as the back of the cabinetry.
