The Verona is the gentlest of our arched doors: a smooth crown arch that rises out of slim 54mm stiles with no steps or shoulders, over two softly-moulded panels. The arch, panels and their rounded moulding are routed into an 18mm E1-grade MDF core and wrapped in one seamless skin — classic lines with none of joinery’s joints. Edges finish in Profile Edge 4, a sculpted 20mm step.

If the Windsor is a statement, the Verona is a manner — the classic fitted wardrobe that simply looks as though it has always belonged. Its crown arch rises in one smooth curve from slim stiles, its moulding is rounded rather than carved deep, and across a full wall the effect is calm, gracious and quietly traditional, shown here in near-black with brass and a lit oak display bay.

How it works: the arch, both panels and the rounded moulding are routed into an 18mm E1-grade MDF core (PEFC/FSC® accredited) and wrapped in one seamless skin — no joints, no cracking paint lines. Stiles are a slim 54mm (the slimmest in our arched family), edges carry a sculpted 20mm step profile, and doors hang on soft-close hinges with your choice of handles.

The soft power of a curve

The Classic Fitted Wardrobe is built on the softest arch we make. The Verona has a rounded crown — a curve that rises gently to a flattened top — with a rounded moulding around the panel, on 54mm stiles. Where the other arched doors make a point, the Verona makes a curve, and in matt black that curve is what you see first.

The run shown wraps a lit, oak-lined niche with drawers beneath whose fronts carry the same rounded moulding, so the curve repeats at waist height as well as at the top of every door. A dressing table with a lit mirror sits on the return.

How it works: an 18mm E1-grade MDF door machined with the crown arch and rounded panel moulding, wrapped in 5G vinyl. The 54mm stile is deliberately the narrowest of the arched family, so the curve is not crowded by the frame. Brass bar handles run vertically.

Classic here does not mean old. It means the proportions are the ones that have always worked, on a door that will not need repainting.

Designed around how you use your room

The Verona suits a bedroom with soft furnishings and a period shell — it answers a rounded cornice or an arched window. It is drawn here with top boxes, a central niche and a dressing area.

Built for everyday use: the rounded moulding has no sharp arris to chip, the arch is machined into the door so it cannot lift, and the doors close on soft-close hinges.

The interior finish is chosen at the design visit; the niche shown is oak.

Manufactured in our Wembley workshop

A rounded moulding is cut with a shaped cutter rather than a straight one, and the radius has to match between the arch at the top of the door and the moulding around the drawer fronts below, or the two curves argue. Both are cut from one programme in our HA9 Wembley factory.

The crown arch and the rounded drawer moulding share one cutter radius on the CNC so the two curves match, boards are nested on the beam saw, and hinge and drawer positions are drilled on the six-sided machine.

Surveyed before cutting, installed by our own fitters, and backed by a 10-year parts and labour guarantee.

Does a classic style date?

How is the arch made?
