A 200mm scoop is sculpted into the door at the meeting edge and lined with polished metal, so each pull catches the light like an inlay — yet sits perfectly flush with the face. Behind it, five layers press around an 18mm E1-grade MDF core wrapped in one seamless skin, finished with a clean square edge softened by a 3mm radius.

The Seymour door makes that point every time you open it: a sculpted 200mm scoop, carved into the door itself and lined with polished metal, catching the light down a run of doors like a row of inlays. No protruding handles, no interruptions — just one tailored wall with jewellery at its seams.

How it works: each door is an 18mm E1-grade MDF core (PEFC/FSC® accredited) wrapped in one thermoformed skin; the scoop is machined into the board and fitted with its polished liner, flush to the face. Doors hang on soft-close hinges and finish in a clean square edge with a 3mm radius. The Seymour sits a step above our standard modern doors in both detail and price.

Make it yours: the deep blue shown is one of 90+ finishes — matt, superior matt, gloss and woodgrain — with ten interior colours. Floor-to-ceiling runs, alcoves, walk-in dressing rooms and corners, all cut in our Wembley workshop.

Luxury is what you touch, not what you see

The Luxury Fitted Wardrobe is about what you touch. The Seymour is a slab door with a sculpted scoop cut into it — a shaped recess with a metal liner that your fingers find without looking — so the run has no projecting handle anywhere and yet every door opens with a proper grip. Luxury, here, is the part of the wardrobe you use a dozen times a day feeling right.

The run shown wraps the bed wall in navy super-matt, floor to ceiling on both sides with lit vertical returns and a desk under the window. The scoops sit at one height across every door, and the metal liners catch the light from the returns.

How it works: an 18mm E1-grade MDF slab, machined to receive the scoop, wrapped in 5G vinyl, and fitted with the sculpted metal pull that gives the door its name. The pull is recessed flush, so nothing stands proud of the face. Super-matt keeps the navy from reflecting the room.

The scoop pocket is machined by CNC to the exact size of its metal liner, and the liner goes in after the vinyl wrap so the wrap runs unbroken into the recess.

Built for everyday use: a recessed pull cannot catch a sleeve or a hip the way a bar can, and the metal liner takes the wear so the vinyl around it never does. Soft-close hinges throughout.

Can I match it to a dressing room or the rest of the bedroom?

Yes — the same door builds walk-in dressing rooms, dressing tables and bedside units, in 90+ finishes with ten interior colours, so the whole room can be specified as one piece.

What is the metal detail on the doors?

A scoop pull: a sculpted recess cut into the face of the door and lined in metal, so you open the door by hooking your fingers into the pocket rather than by pulling a handle that stands out from it. It is the only metal on the run, which is why it reads as jewellery rather than hardware, and it takes the wear that a vinyl edge would otherwise take.

Is a recessed pull as easy to use as a handle?

Easier, once you have used one. The scoop is shaped to a hand, so it gives a fuller grip than a slim bar, and because it sits flush it never catches clothing or a passing hip in a narrow room.
