Stratford Chest of Drawers London

The Stratford is the chest that disappears into a white room. Five drawers, no handles, a matt white lacquer that matches the wall: two small drawers across the top for the socks and the papers, three wide drawers below for the clothes and the linen. A push on any front opens it.

It is the piece for a spare room, a landing or a minimal bedroom, and for the room where a white wardrobe already sets the tone.

How it works: five 16mm solid-sided drawer boxes on full-extension push-to-open runners with soft close, in a solid-back carcass. The fronts sit with a 3mm gap so they read as one surface, and a push at any point on the front releases the drawer.

Some rooms are better for having less in them. The Stratford has no knobs, no bars, no plinth line and no colour, so it is storage without a piece of furniture, which is exactly what a spare room or a landing wants.

The Stratford is cut, built and sprayed in our HA9 Wembley factory, with the push-to-open runners fitted and the gaps set before delivery.
