The Clarendon Bespoke Bar Unit hides its bar in plain sight. A tall run of handleless Cashmere Matt doors holds a lit niche at counter height, with a fluted panel behind it, a white marble-effect counter and a stemware rack above, and beside the run a full-height display column behind smoked glass in a black frame shows the bottles as shapes until it is lit.

Nothing on the run has a handle: the doors are push-to-open, so the wall reads as cabinetry with a lit alcove cut into it. Inside, every cupboard is Dark Walnut Woodgrain.

How it works: the Clarendon is built from 18mm MFC on 18mm solid-back E1-grade carcasses as one full-height run. The niche is a lined recess with a fluted panel on its back wall, an LED strip along its top edge and the stemware rack fixed beneath it; the counter is a marble-effect worktop. The display column is a separate carcass with a smoked-glass door in a black aluminium frame, lit from above.

Doors and drawers open on push-to-open catches with soft-close hinges and runners.

Designed around how you entertain

The Clarendon is planned so that the bar shows only what you choose: the niche for making drinks, the column for the bottles worth seeing, and everything else behind a closed door.

Designed for serving as well as storage: the counter in the niche is the working surface — a marble-effect top at the right height to pour at, with the glasses hanging over it and the fluted panel lit behind. The column beside it is the display, kept behind smoked glass so it reads as a soft glow until the door opens.

Built for everyday use: 18mm solid-back carcasses throughout, a worktop that wipes clean, and push-to-open catches on a textured matt board that does not show the fingerprints handleless doors collect.

Manufactured in our Wembley workshop

A niche cut into a run of doors has to line through with the doors around it, so the Clarendon’s carcasses are cut on the beam saw in our HA9 Wembley factory from one survey and the door reveals and the niche opening are set from the same line.

The fluted panel is cut to the niche, the LED channels are routed into the niche top and the column head, the smoked-glass door is framed and hung before delivery, and every visible edge is banded in Cashmere Matt on industrial equipment.

The wall, the ceiling and the sightline from the seating are measured at your design visit.
