Windsor Woodgrain Sliding Wardrobe

The Windsor is the only wardrobe in our sliding collection specified with black profiles rather than silver. Against Grey Oak woodgrain that black line does real work: it draws a crisp rectangle around each door and turns three sliding panels into a deliberate composition rather than a flat run.

How it works: the outer doors are Grey Oak woodgrain on 18mm MFC and the centre door is silver mirror, each framed on all four sides by a black aluminium profile. The doors run on separate tracks carried by the 200mm-wide internal MFC frame behind them, which takes the weight of the mirrored door as well as the panelled ones.

Grey Oak is a cool woodgrain rather than a warm one, which is why it holds up against a black frame instead of fighting it. The interior is finished in Carbon Grey, so the wardrobe stays dark and quiet when a door is open rather than flashing white.

Designed around how you use your room

Three metres of run gives you room to separate hanging from folded storage properly. Depending on your design, the Windsor can include:

Built for everyday use: the Windsor shown here has a Carbon Grey interior and measures 3000mm wide × 2400mm high × 600mm deep, giving a full hanging run either side of the mirrored centre door.

The run is made to the measured dimensions of your wall and the interior is planned around your own storage rather than a fixed layout. The 200mm MFC supporting frame is finished in the selected carcass colour so it sits behind the doors without announcing itself.

The black profile is a choice rather than a fixture. The same doors can be framed in Silver, White, Black Gloss, Black Matt, Champagne, Cashmere or Gun Metal, and the panel and mirror positions can be rearranged horizontally or vertically.

Manufactured in our Wembley workshop

Your wardrobe is made to measure and precision-manufactured in our HA9 Wembley factory. A black profile is unforgiving of a poor mitre — the corners are the first thing the eye finds on a dark frame, so the profiles are cut and assembled in the workshop rather than trimmed on site.

Woodgrain boards have a direction, so our beam saw plans the cut with the grain running the same way on both panelled doors. Intelligent CNC and 6-side drilling machine the components and industrial edge-banding finishes every edge.
