No joints means nowhere for paint to crack: the flaw that ages painted joinery simply cannot happen here.

The Gladstone sits at the family’s centre of gravity: 70mm frames around a flat panel, the safe-and-right choice for most rooms. This is the Gladstone — designated Mdf painted in the catalogue — the painted look engineered onto a seamless board.
How it works: the 70mm frame profile is machined from a single piece of 18mm E1-grade MDF, primed in polyester and finished in polyurethane matt paint with paintable ABS edging. Because there are no joints, there is nowhere for paint to crack — the painted look without painted joinery’s one weakness. Soft-close Blum hinges throughout.
