Every Metro door and panel is machined from premium E1-grade board in our own Wembley workshop — cut to your exact sizes, with each edge banded in the same colour — so the door face, its edges and the carcass all read as one material.

What door style is the Rosalind Hinged Wardrobe?

Shaker doors — a flat, square-edged frame with a recessed centre panel, and no moulding on the frame itself. It gives the Rosalind a modern rather than traditional look. The run shown has eight doors: the four in the middle carry panelled centres, and each end has a pair with full-length mirrored centres.

How many of the doors are mirrored, and can that be changed?

Four of the eight doors are mirrored in the version shown, arranged as a pair at either end so the mirrors balance the run. The split between mirrored and panelled doors is decided at the design stage, so mirrors can sit anywhere along the wardrobe, be added to more doors, or be left out altogether.

What size is the Rosalind, and will it fit my room?

The wardrobe shown measures 4300mm wide and 2684mm high, running floor to ceiling and wall to wall with a recessed plinth at the base. Every Rosalind is made to measure, so the width and height are cut to your room. Sloping ceilings, chimney breasts and out-of-square walls are all scribed in on site, and the exact sizes are confirmed at the technical survey before anything is manufactured.

What is the interior finished in?

The interior is finished in H1369 Marone Casella Oak, a warm mid-brown oak decor that lifts the dark exterior each time the doors are opened. The carcase is 18mm E1-grade MFC throughout. The internal layout — hanging rails, shelving, drawers and shoe storage — is specified bay by bay, so each section can be set up for what you actually keep in it.

What handles and hinges are fitted?

Brushed stainless steel T-bar pull handles, mounted vertically and paired at each door meeting point, at roughly a third of the door height. Soft-close hinges are fitted as standard, so the doors pull themselves closed over the last few centimetres and never slam. Handles can be swapped for another style or finish at no change to the construction.
